February 25	Gail Clyma from Westhampton; the topic will be a Dark Skies Presentation. The mission of the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) is to preserve and protect the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies through quality outdoor lighting.  Newly elected Southampton Town Councilwom: Annna Throne Holst will be on hand to answered questions from the community

May 19	Our guest speakers will be Southampton Town Planning Department, The Town Housing Director, and Consultants hired to look at Riverside. The presentation will be the Urban Renewal plan for the Riverside community. This is a take-off from the Riverside blight Study from a couple of years ago This is very important for all Riverside members and non-members to be present so please pass the word around. Please ask a friend or a neighbor. Meet new people and discuss what’s going on in the Community. A lot of things are happening.

January 22	Community Updates / The Blood Drive is to be held at the Flanders Fire House, 19 Firehouse Lane on Feb 20. It's a Tuesday and the time will be from 3 PM until 8 PM. And of course, ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME DOWN & DONATE !!!
February 26	Guest Speaker: The Flanders Fire Dept- will provide information and answer questions for the proposed Sub-Station on Flanders Rd in Flanders. This proposal will require a vote from the community in the near future,so please come and show your support and hear the facts.      Membership Renewals Due March 1, 2007

October 22	"Meet The Candidates" The Candidates running for the Town Supervisors position:   Incumbent Patrick Heaney (Conservative), Linda Kabot (Republican), Alex Gregor (Independent), and Jim Henry (Democrat). The Five candidates running for the two Town Council seats are incumbent Nancy Grabowski (Republican), Jim Drew (Conservative), Dan Russo (Republican), Anna Throne Holst (Democrat), Sandra Dunn (Democrat). November 26	Our Guest Speaker will be: State Assemblyman Fred Thiele  The topic will be the new legislation enacted on the Community Preservation Fund. In the past we have come to rely on Payment in Lou of Taxes, (PILOTS) to offset our taxes because of the 84% of lands taken off the tax rolls due to preservation. Under the old legislation districts were required to have at least 25% of preserved land off the tax rolls in any given school district to be eligible. The new legislation by the State requires property that is wholly exempt or an average or high need school district.  This is our opportunity to understand the legislation and what effects it holds for our future tax burden, negative or positive. 6th Annual FRNCA Holiday Party at The Flanders Men’s Club, on December 15, from 7:00 to 11:00. Cost per ticket will be $ 10.00 and will entitle you to buffet style food, soda and good holiday music. Tickets will be available at the FRNCA meeting. January 26	No meeting due to renovation work at the Flanders Nutrition Center. FRNCA was notified only a few days prior to renovation, forcing the cancellation of the January meeting.
February 23	Guest speakers will be Mr. Andrew Mitchell, President and CEO of Central Suffolk Hospital, and Dede Gothelf, Developer of the River Catwalk Project. Topics will include a walk-in clinic and an update to the River Catwalk Project. These are very important issues concerning the future of our community.
March 22	Guest Speaker will be Congressman Tim Bishop. Discussion of Current issues. Discussion of workshop on Riverside Mixed Use Plan LI40 (old Flanders Drive-in).
April 26	Guest Speaker will be Southampton Town Supervisor Patrick Heany. Elections to be held for FRNCA Executive Board Members. Further discussion on the LI40 Mixed use proposal.

January 27	Guest speaker: Reynolds Dodson (Southampton Liaison for bicycle lanes). Nominating Committee and Audit Committee members needed. Bylaws Amendment & vote. Phillips Ave School playground & asphalt area discussion. Membership drive discussion.
February 24	Guest speaker: Walter Bundy, Grants Writer for Southampton Town to discuss grant availability and grant writing. Brief discussion for volunteers sought by Phillips Ave Parent's Association (PAPA) for installation of asphalt gym area. Help needed with digging, moving sod, railroad ties. Membership drive discussion. Seeking nominations for Executive Board. Great East End Clean Up volunteers sought.
March 24	Guest speaker: Bob Aluskewicz (NYS Department of Transportation) to give update on Route 24 construction. Also, there will be a discussion on the proposal by Suffolk County Public Works to create a U-turn at Route 105 & Route 24 intersection.
April 28	Executive board elections will be held. Additional nominations are encouraged and may be made by contacting Lonaway Muldrow at 727-4754 or in person at the meeting. Nominated candidates must be in attendance and their dues must be current. Members whose dues are paid for 2003 are eligible to vote. The guest speaker will be Dr. Denise Lowe, Principal of the Phillips Avenue Elementary School. Appearances will be made by Joseph Pipczynski Jr., Glenn Schafer, and Lori Montefusco (candidates for the Riverhead School Board) and a brief panel discussion on school issues will be held.
