A General Membership Meeting of the Flanders,
Northampton and Riverside Community Association (FRNCA) was held on June
24, 2002, at the Flanders Nutrition Center.
Since there were 41 people in attendance, 31 of them
members, and at least 23 of those members were paid members, a quorum was
declared and the meeting was called to order at about 7:40 PM. All board
members were present except one. A motion was made and passed to pay the attorney for services rendered in the creation of the association. A motion was made and passed to reimburse the Administrator for $27 postage. A motion was made and passed to destroy the completed ballots of last month's election of officers. Since the minutes of the Executive Board were not prepared, the reading of those minutes were postponed until the next meeting. The Treasurer's report was given, and a motion was made and passed to accept it (see attached). Including the attorney's bill, there was a checking account balance of $1,346. The Membership Committee report was read, and a motion was made and passed to accept it. The total membership stood at 81, which included two businesses. A membership promotion letter was distributed. Marie Romano won the 50/50 raffle and generously
donated her proceeds back to the association. |
